Club Notes February 27th

Well Done: Well Done to everyone involved in the recent National League match against Tyrone staged under the lights at St. Mary’s Park. Plenty of patrons gave glowing praises about the access and the facilities which goes to show the hard work of everyone involved in the planning and execution of the event.

Well done and get well soon to our groundsman Patsy who unfortunately got injured in the leadup to the match – hope we see you back at St. Mary’s soon Patsy!

Congratulations to our own U10 boys who represented Monaghan at halftime. They all put in a fanstastic shift: Joe, Ben, Theo, David, Cormac, Canice, Eoghain, Callum, Tim, Sean and Brion.

Date for Diary: Saturday 7th April, 4pm, Muckno Park. The McDermott Family are holding a Pyjama 5K in memory of their little angel Lucy. All monies raised will go to Laura Lynn who offered huge support to the McDermott family and continue to offer support to families across the country as they face the greatest battles of their lives. The day promises to be full of fun, so we encourage everyone near and far to come and take part.

Monaghan GAA ‘Club All-Stars Awards’: The awards night takes place on Friday 2nd March in the Glencarn Hotel, Castleblayney. It is going to be an occasion where Gaels right across the county will come together to show their appreciation and applaud club players for without them and the many others like them there would be no sport.
