Club Notes July 24th

Senior Men: Our seniors got some important points on Friday past when they hosted Truagh at St. Mary’s Park. The lads were in control throughout much of the game. Dermot Malone scored the first point in the first minute and the Faughs never looked back from that. In a good display of football we ran out convincing winners on a scoreline of Faughs 0-15, Truagh 0-08. These were very important points as they keep us within touching distance of the team above us in the league. Next up is a huge match away to Latton this coming Friday at 8.00pm. Latton are just above us in the league so all support would be appreciated.

Reserves: Our C’s are in the Div3 semi-final this Wednesday (24th) at 7.30pm against Scotstown in Scotstown. This new team has done themselves and their club proud this season so lets hope this is another step towards more silverware.

U15 Boys: Best wishes to the management and players involved in the final against Carrick this coming Wednesday (24th July). The match is in Donaghmoyne so all support would be much appreciated by this group of dedicated and skillful group of boys.
