Club Notes May 14th

Well Done: Well done to the U14 Girls and coaches of Our Ladies Secondary School Girls team who recently won the Ulster A title. A marvellous achievement for the ladies!

SFL: Our seniors made the short trip to Doohamlet on Monday evening past to take on our close neighbours. We started off slow and were soon 4 points down 0-04 to no score. Slowly but surely the lads found their feet and got some rhythm going and we went in at the break 3 points up 0-06 to 0-09. This was down in no small part to some good running and strong fielding and our forwards always finding some space. The break did not negatively impact the Faughs and they continued in the same vein and by the 21st minute were well in control 0-09 to 2-14. Doohamlet to their credit came back into the game then to leave the final score Doohamlet 1-11, Faughs 2-15. This was a welcome 2 points and bodes well for the visit of O’Neills on the 24th May.

Best Wishes:
