Senior Men: The Senior Team take on Clontibret away this Sunday 9th of October with a 12.30pm throw in, following a disappointing result against Latton the lads will be keen to get the show back on the road in an effort to secure a semi-final place in the league. We currently stand in second place in the league on 19 points with two games remaining. Our last league game will be a home game when we entertain Carrick on Sunday 15th of October at 4.30pm.

Operation TransFAUGHSmation: We are in to Week 5, classes as normal on Tuesday and Friday together with the Couch to 5K training Sunday morning. Keep up the good work! TEAM TOM v TEAM JAZZA is back for 2016 and will take place in the Glencarn Shopping Centre on Bank Holiday Saturday at Halloween; can we ask that you keep the date free so you can help the group cycle to some much need money for Charity.

Under 10 Boys: The lads have been invited to play in the Drumhowan Under 10 Blitz on Saturday 15th of October, the coaches will send out a text on the details closer to the time.

Under 12 Boys: The Boys played in Our Lady Secondary School in a blitz for 5th and 6th class last Saturday; they acquitted themselves very well showing plenty of Skill and Commitment right throughout the games, well done to Mr Kelly and his team for organising the event.

County Final: The Greenhill’s County Senior Football Final took place last Sunday in St Marys Park, on what was a beautiful sunny afternoon the 4,000 spectators where entertained firstly by Corduff and Aughnamullen in the Minor Final which was won by Corduff, this was followed by the Senior County Final between Clontibret and Scotstown which was won by Scotstown. St.Marys Park look amazing on the day and feedback from the large crowd was extremely positive on our hosting of the Finals.

Well Done: This week’s well done goes out to the very large group of people who helped make the County Senior Final pass off so well last weekend, there was a huge amount of cleaning, tidying, washing painting and pitch preparation completed over the last few weeks. On the day we had a very large crowd of stewards who insured that all patrons attending the game were looked after from the moment they parked their car until they return to the car in the evening. Well done and thanks to everyone involved.
