As everyone is aware by now, Kym Owens, one of our Senior Ladies, suffered a horrific attack before Christmas. Thankfully Kym is recovering, however its a slow process, and she requires numerous treatments at a huge cost to her family.
Kym has been part of our Club since we introduced Gaelic4Girls a number of years ago, and along with playing for the Club, Kym has attended numberous coaching and refereeing courses. Kym is someone who wants to learn and help in any way she can.
As a Club we want to help Kym and her family as they face the long road to recovery.
The Irish Rugby team on hearing of Kyms attack, very kindly contacted us and offered us a signed jersey from their famous win over New Zealand last year. This is a very valuable item and the jersey is framed, ready to go to its new home.
Tickets are priced at €50, and are limited, and are available from Club Members. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE KYM OWENS RECOVERY FUND.
