RFL:We hosted Truagh on Wednesday evening past and played out an entertaining draw in the Reserve league, final score Faughs 2-07, Truagh 1-10. We have a break now before the Q/F against Killanny in the O’Duffy Cup on the 17th May.
Our second reserve team travelled to Rockcorry in the league and came away with all the points with a convincing win over the hosts. Final score Rockcorry 1-13, Faughs 4-15.
Boys U15: The Faughs U15 boys maintained their unbeaten start to the U15 Division 1 league when overcoming a strong Magheracloone challenge on Thursday last, in a top of the table clash. Some excellent football was on display as both teams gave a good exhibition of attacking football, with the Faughs emerging victorious on a scorline of 4-15 to 4-9. This U15 side have remained unbeaten in the League to date and remain top of the table. Next up is an away trip to Monaghan Harps on Thursday evening in Round 5, where these young lads will be determined to keep their winning run intact.
SFL: Our seniors make the short trip to Doohamlet on Monday 13th May. Lets hope the lads can come back home with the points.
