Senior Men Match Report: Well done to our second reserve team as they got off to a winning start against Currin in St. Mary’s Park on Saturday past.
Currin kept in touch and were always within a point or two of Blayney until 10 mins into the second half when Daniel Kerr raised the first of the green flags. Blayney kicked on from there, and Odhran raised the second green towards the end of the match. With a good blend of youth and experience and lads coming off the bench, we saw out the match on a scoreline Castleblayney 2-13, Currin 0-11.
Next up, the reserves have a home game this Sunday against Killanny.
