Reserves –The Reserve team continue to make progress up the league with a good away win over Aughnamullen last Saturday evening. The Faughs opened well with a good point from Damien Hughes followed by two Ronan McNamara goals , one from the penalty spot which left the Faughs up by six point with just six minutes gone on the Clock, further points by Aidan McElroy, John Beattie and Fergal Malone helped the famous Green and Gold keep a four point gap at half time. The second half was a tight affair with both teams regularly trading points but a couple of late scores from Patrick Tavey and AidanMc Elroy saw the lads emerge from Aughnamullen with two points which now see us now joint top alongside Ballybay and the Harps.
