Senior Ladies: History was made on Friday evening past when the ladies participated in their first ever championship game against a strong Killeevan side.
It could have been a case of nerves, but we were down by a big margin at the beginning of the match. But full credit to the team and the management – they played themselves back into the game with some wonderful football. Despite the result, the ladies certainly did themselves proud, and with a fightback like this, they can look forward to much better match days ahead.
SFL Men: The senior men lost out to a strong Carrick side on Friday night past in an away game.
Best Wishes: Best wishes and good luck to all our county teams playing this weekend, especially any Faughs players who will be representing their county.
Cul Camps: The Cul Camp is in full flow this week at St. Mary’s Park. All training for affected boys and girls has been cancelled for this week.
Muckno Mania Sports day: Well done to all the kids at this year’s Muckno Mania Sports day sponsored by Paul MacCormack Solicitors. A successful Teddy Bear’s Picnic preceded the Sports Day for the smaller ones. All the parents agreed it was a fantastic event.
Faughs Summer Camp: A date for your Diaries: we are delighted to announce the Summer Camp will commence on Wednesday 8th of August and Close on Saturday 11th of August , we will have further details over the next few weeks.
