Feile 2015, its time………

Its fair to say excitement has been building over the last number of weeks in the lead up to the big weekend, and its finally here, Feile 2015. Feile is a landmark in a GAA players life, and those lucky enough to attend have always said its a weekend you will never forgot.

This evening, our U14 squad received their new Club Gear in preparation for tomorrows early departure to our host Club, An Tochar in Roundwood, Co. Wicklow. The weekend is action packed with games starting tomorrow evening at 5pm (fixtures below) and when the lads are not playing, our hosts An Tochar have arranged hospitality in their Club Rooms for all attending.

On behalf of the Senior Executive and all member of Castleblayney Faughs, we would like to wish our U14 Players & Coaches every success, and most importantly, we urge you to enjoy every minute of the weekend ahead.

As there are too many to mention, a collective Thank you to all who supported our Race Night and Street Collection, especially all the U14 Parents & Families and local businesses.

We should also say a big Thank You to Declan ‘Loughie’ Loughman, for ensuring the gear for the weekend arrived in time – the lads will definitely be looking the part for the weekend.

Thank you also to our host club, An Tochar, Roundwood and a special mention to Carol Curley who has gone above and beyond to make our journey as easy as possible. We are looking forward to meeting ye all, and adding to our GAA family.

Friday 26th 5pm Ferns v Castleblayney Faughs Ferns, Wexford

6pm South London v Castleblayney Faughs Ferns, Wexford

Saturday 27th 11am An Tochar v Castleblayney Faughs Roundwood, Wicklow

The lads are assured a 4th game, which will take place in Ballinakill, Wicklow – timing will depend on how lads finish in group stages.
We will keep everyone updated via social media on the lads progression over the weekend.
