Under U12 Boys: Our young lads really gave it everything, getting better as the tournament progressed. They safely navigated a very tough group, pipped by a point by eventual winners of the Cup, Lavey. Having finished runner up in the 6 team group, it was on to the shield QF, against the Derry Club Watty Grahams. A real tough and battling performance saw the lads edge a tough encounter by 4 points. On to the semi final, here we met the Moy of Tyrone. Some of the football here was outstanding at times, and again these lads showed real character edging another closely fought encounter, to setup a Final meeting with O’Donnovan Rossa (Derry). The lads really turned on the style in the Final, some of their movement and possession play was a joy to watch. They were tenacious in the tackle when the lost possession, and their attacking and support play gained the plaudits they deserved from many Neutrals present. Overall, these young lads showed just how well they are progressing, and showed a real passion and desire to succeed.

Donaghmoyne never gave up and battled hard to the final whistle to come within one point of the girls leaving a score line of 2-12 Faughs to 4-05 Donaghmoyne.
