Castleblayney Faughs Club Notes 27/02/24

Ladies Football: Our senior ladies reserve team play Emyvale in Round 1 of the league. Sunday 3rd March, St. Oliver Plunkett Park, Emyvale at 10.30am.

County Ladies: Monaghan Minors are out this weekend in Round 2 of the Ulster Championship. Playing Antrim in Cloghan Saturday 2nd March at 2pm. Good luck to our own players on the panel – Aimee Donnelly, Aoibheann Donaghy, Edel Murphy, Lucy McManus & Niamh Kelly.

Senior Monaghan Ladies are also out in Round 5 of the NFL playing Cavan in Clones, Sunday 3rd March at 1pm. Due to injury, Jodie will be on the side line but good luck to Shona on the day.

Pitch Maintenance: The main Pitch is closed due to annual maintenance and will remain closed for a period of 2 weeks (From 27/02/24), we ask all players to refrain from using the pitch, the walking track will remain open. The new Pitch has an area under repair, again we ask all players to avoid this area of the pitch

Mini Faughs: We had a great recption last week at the Mini Faughs U6 Registration night. Continuing on this week we have Fun & Games Training starting from Thursday 29th February and running every Thursday 5.45pm – 6.30pm in Castleblayney College. For More info: Call/Text 0876290806

Juvenile Presentation: On Thursday evening last we celebrated the recent success of our U14 Girls & U13 Boys teams. 2023 was a year for doubles. We look forward to more success in this coming season.

Seachtain na Gaeilge: Cumann Fág an Bealach CLG Tae,  Café agus Comhrá in Iontas do Seachtain na Gaeilge. Tuesday 12th March, 5.00pm – 6.30pm

Bingo: Faughs Bingo on every Wednesday at 8pm in Our Lady’s Concert Hall.  Over €3500 in prize money to be won on the night.
