Fundraiser: Last weekend saw the launch of our new promotional video for our major fundraiser. A massive thanks must go out to all involved in the making of the video. Reaction to date has been phenomenal. We ask all to keep liking and sharing on our social media sites and help us achieve our targets in finishing our development.

Return To Play: It was great to see all back on the field last week. Lots of happy faces on kids, parents and coaches. Huge numbers returned and we must say thanks to all for abiding to all the guidelines and helping all Covid officers and coaches fulfil their duties to a high standard. Training continues for all this week. See your Heja team app for exact days and times and continue to fill your online Covid questionnaire prior to training.

Membership: For those who still have to pay their membership, it can be still completed via the return to play online or leaving it with our club treasurer. Thanks to all who have so far paid up to date.

Referee recrutment: The county board have issued an appeal to get more Referees on board. Anyone interested please contact one of our committee members or contact Xavior Coyle (Referee Administrator)

Club development plan :The club is looking for expressions of interest for the club development plan 2022-2027, this will be a sequel to the last development plan and will encompass alot of what hasn’t been delivered in that plan to date, the plan is open submissions,  also a new development plan committee is being sought, all interested people should let the club secretary know. Thanks

Sponsorship : A huge word of thank Pete and crew at super valu Castleblayney for sponsoring 200 footballs to our juveniles for the season. Kids were all delighted and thank you for your continued support.

Condolences : All at the club wish to extend their deepest condolences to the family of Teresa Mcdonald (nee carragher) RIP on her sad passing. Teresa was a life long supporter of the Green and Gold. Her husband Pat was the treasurer of the club for over 25yrs and her son Sean followed in his footsteps as club treasurer and presided over other roles in the club, her son Pauric won several senior championships with the club and her daughters were involved with the club at various support levels throughout the years.
