Club Notes Dec 24th

Christmas: We would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. Lets hope you have been good (most of the time) this year and Santa brings you what you wish for! We will see you all in 2020!

Faughs Share Draw: A massive thank you to everyone who entered the €12,000 Share Draw. It has been a great success, and has really helped us in our goal of building the new pitch on the old golf course. The culmination of the draw will be a club night out plus the Draw for the prizes on Sunday 29th December in Watters Old Coach Inn. Draw will be at 8.00pm and finger food will be available. Be sure to spread the word and hope to see you all. There will be a limited number of ShareDraw tickets available on the night, so it is still not too late to enter.
We are currently buying the land on the old golf course, and once this is complete you will start to see initial work being carried out on the ground.

Pitches: Please remember the pitches are still closed. We have spent a considerable amount of money repairing both the main pitch and the juvenile pitch. Please stay off the pitches until further notice to give the surfaces every chance of recovering over the winter period.

Lotto: Winning numbers in this weeks Lotto: 1, 11, 14 & 30. No winner of the €3100 jackpot. Congratulations to Richard Boyd who wins €50 in the lucky dip. Next weeks jackpot is €3200. You can play at lotto.castleblayneyfaughs.com or look out for sellers about town at the weekend.

Well Done: Congratulations to Niall Rice on achieving his Ulster Future All Star award. Niall loves his football and this award just shows that hard work and dedication certainly pays off. Well done Niall.

Congratulations to our own Declan Loughman and Brian Sherry who were recognised recently at the County Convention. Declan is due to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, while Brian picked up the Officer of the Year award.
