Club Notes February 8th

Cairde:There will be a Cairde meeting this Thursday 8th February, 8.00pm at the pitch, not lasting more than 30 mins. If you are interested in helping to develop Cairde, then please come along.

Date for the diary: Watch out for an information night coming up soon (no date has yet been set) which will be an open invite to all Faughs (both old and young). .

Well Done: Well done to all of our juvenile coaches who attended a fantastic session in Castleblayney College gym. Lots of great advice about games and coaching were passed on so we can expect big things from all our teams this year, especially our juveniles!
If you would like to be part of the coaching group or just would like help out with any of the teams just give Brian a call on 086 233 4287.

Juvenile Training: With the playing season not far away, training will be commencing within the next few weeks for our juvenile teams. Keep an eye out over the next while for start dates, times and venues.
Please remember that new members are always very welcome.

National League Match: On Saturday February 24th we will be hosting the Allianz National League game against Tyrone in St. Marys Park. The match will be played under the lights with a throw-in at 7.00pm.

Monaghan GAA are running Beginner Courses in Coaching and Games Development in the new year. These are great courses to attend for aspiring coaches and managers, and include a Child Protection Workshop as well as lots of practical work and games workshops.

Venue&Dates: Magheracloone, 9th/10th February
