SFL Men: Our seniors made the trip to Latton to take on the O’Rahilly’s in the league on Saturday evening past. The Faughs got off to a great start and were 0-06 to no-score within 25 minutes. Latton then scored a couple of points before the green flag was raised for the Faughs. Half time score Latton 0-03, Faughs 1-07. In a game of two halves, Latton came back strong in the 2nd half to take a share of the spoils.
Final score Latton: 1-09, Faughs: 1-09.
Reserves: This Friday at 8.00pm sees the B’s take on Killanny in the preliminary round of the O’Duffy Cup. The match will be at St. Mary’s Park, so please come out and support the lads.
U14 Girls: The u14 girls team played at home to Scotstown in the second round of the league. With strong performances from all they came away with another victory with an impressive scoreline. Well done ladies!
Training continues Monday and Friday evenings.
Under 9 Boys: Last Saturday the boys travelled to Clontibret with 2 teams to take on the hosts. Played in beautiful sunshine, the lads put on a fantastic show of skill of determination. Many thanks to all the parents and guardians who made the trip to support the boys. They were all marvelous. Thanks to our hosts Clontribret – it is challenge games like these that really bring the lads on.
