Castleblayney Faugh’s are this weekend launching their new weekly draw that is a draw with a difference. Known as a 50/50 jackpot draw, every entry will form part of the weekly fixed jackpot and every entry will have a chance to win it. Each entry is split 50/50, with 50% going to the jackpot and the remaining 50% going towards the clubs development fund. All entries are then included in weekly draw on a Sunday evening and one lucky winner pulled from the draw will scoop the prize. Couldn’t be easier. There is no selection of numbers or letters, just write your name on the envelope and you are in the draw. This type of draw is becoming more and more popular but Castleblayney Faugh’s are the first to introduce it in Monaghan and indeed the North East region. Its gives the players a good chance at winning a decent jackpot every week. The format will replace the Faugh’s Lotto that ran for many years and proved very popular but very hard to win! The weekly tickets are priced at €2 per envelope or €5 for 3, which gives great value and a bigger chance of winning. As with the Lotto, tickets will be on sale outside McMahons SuperValu throughout the weekend and also in the local pubs over the weekend, with the first draw taking place Easter Sunday.
