Monaghan GAA are organising an evening of light entertainment for the older
generation with the hosting of a GAA Gold event. We plan to show a re-run of the
1985 National League Final when Monaghan defeated Armagh. The match will be
followed by a discussion with a few of the men directly involved in the game. Light
refreshments will be served on the night. The event is targeting our older generation
particularly the men. The evening is been run as part of the national Positive Mental
Health Week campaign. It is a great opportunity to come re-live some nostalgic
memories and here the thoughts of some of the people directly involved in the game.
It would be great to see a good crowd on the night, so spread the word and we look
forward to seeing you all on the night.
