U16 Boys Div1 Rd7: Scotstown v Faughs, May 19th 2016

Scotstown 0-07 Faughs 3-11 FT

Following on from our hard fought win over Carrick last week our U16s continued their good form with a 3-11 to 0-7 win over Scotstown on thursday evening. After a slow start two goals from the excellent Francis McGeough helped settle the boys. Some excellent point taking from Josh Mone, Gavin Kelly and Kian O’Connor established an 11 point half time lead. Scotstown rallied in the second half but were kept at bay by the tireless efforts of Craig Callan and Stephen Beattie. Another well worked goal finished by David Irwin put the tie to bed. The boys have now won six games out of six since returning to division one football, a great achievement. Our last game before the exam break is at home next Thursday.
