When the final whistle had gone, the Faughs had run out worthy winners. Best for the Development team were Paudie Heavin, Shane Morris, Padraic Bolger & Jodie McQuillan.
The U12 Senior Team also got their year off the mark with a very hard earned victory over a big Carrick side. On the kick out Ian Kindlon won a good ball which he passed to Conor Mulligan who knocked it over the bar for a two point victory.
