Castleblayney Faugh’s notes week beginning 01/02/2022

Lotto: This week’s winning numbers are: 3, 11, 17, 24. The four €25 lucky dip winners are: Catriona Malone, Cliodhna kelly, Celene Nugent and Raylene Tavey. Next week’s jackpot is €7,700. Lotto ticket volunteers also required for weekend lotto sales around the public houses, please let us know if you are able to help out with this.

Walking track: The lights for the walking track have been officially switched on this week and will be lit from 5-9pm every day. This is open to anyone in the community who wishes to use the walking track amenity. Please note dogs are not permitted on the grounds.

U9 Boys: Our Street League starts this Thursday 3rd February and will take place for the next 4 Thursdays up to and including Thursday 24th February. Each session is from 5:30pm – 7pm and will be held in Castleblayney Gym. This is open to all 8 and 9 year old boys in and around Castleblayney Town. Cairde: Now due, all members are asked to renew their annual payment of €300 or go DD of €25 per month. This is a vital support for the club, thank you to all those who are cairde members.

Bingo: Bingo is back every Wednesday at 8pm taking place at our usual venue; Our Lady’s Secondary School concert hall, Castleblayney with parking at Iontas. We look forward to welcoming you all back.

Membership: Club membership and registration will be opening up February, 2022. We will open it up first online and there will also be an opportunity for in person registration at a prearranged date and time.

Music Festival: Tickets are on sale NOW! The dates for this years festival are Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July. Line up includes: Nathan Carter, Mike Denver, The Whistlin’ Donkey’s, Johnny Brady, The Urge, Eamon Toal and many more…Tickets can be purchased online at: Castleblayneymusicfestival.ie

Advertising: We now have availability around the field for adverts up for grabs. If you would like more information on how to advertise with us, please ask any committee member.

Congratulations: To the OLSS Senior Boys GAA team on winning the MacLarnon Cup Semi-Final and to the OLSS Senior Ladies reaching the Ulster Ladies Senior A final last week.

Volunteer: Our various committees are already busy working hard for next season. Anyone interested in helping out as a volunteer or as a coach please contact any committee member, we would love to have you on board.
