Castleblayney Faugh’s notes week beginning 07/02/2022

Lotto: This week’s winning numbers are: 11, 12, 16, 22. The four €25 lucky dip winners are: Betty Garvey, Patrick Flanagan, Tara McHugh, Raymond McHugh. Next week’s jackpot is €7,800. Lotto ticket volunteers also required for weekend lotto sales around the public houses, please let us know if you are able to help out with this.

Walking track: The lights for the walking track have been officially switched on this week and will be lit from 5-9pm every day. This is open to anyone in the community who wishes to use the walking track amenity. Please note dogs are not permitted on the grounds.

U9 Boys: Our Street League continues this Thursday 10th February and will take place for the next 3 Thursdays up to and including Thursday 24th February. Each session is from 5:30pm – 7pm and will be held in Castleblayney Gym. This is open to all 8 and 9 year old boys in and around Castleblayney Town. Presentations: The Juvenile presentation night for all winning teams in 2020 and 2021 in of Friday 25th February in Iontas starting at 7pm sharp. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Cairde: Now due, all members are asked to renew their annual payment of €300 or go DD of €25 per month. This is a vital support for the club, thank you to all those who are cairde members.

Bingo: Bingo is back every Wednesday at 8pm taking place at our usual venue; Our Lady’s Secondary School concert hall, Castleblayney with parking at Iontas. We look forward to seeing you there.

Membership: Club membership and registration will be opening up February, 2022. We will open it up first online and there will also be an opportunity for in person registration at a prearranged date and time.

Music Festival: Tickets are on sale NOW! The dates for this years festival are Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July. Line up includes: Nathan Carter, Mike Denver, The Whistlin’ Donkey’s, Johnny Brady, The Urge, Eamon Toal and many more…Tickets can be purchased online at: Castleblayneymusicfestival.ie

Advertising: We now have availability around the field for adverts up for grabs. If you would like more information on how to advertise with us, please ask any committee member.

Good Luck: To the 2nd U14 boys in the final in Crossmaglen on Thursday and the Senior boys in the final against the Carrickmacross High School in Inniskeen at 7:30pm on Friday.

Hard Luck: To OLSS in the Rannafast Cup v SEM on Saturday last and to Castleblayney College on losing out by 1 point to Ballybay in the semi final.

Volunteer: Our various committees are already busy working hard for next season. Anyone interested in helping out as a volunteer or as a coach please contact any committee member, we would love to have you on board.
