Analysis Faugh’s Seniors v Ballybay: The RFL 1B League continued on Friday evening past when we hosted Ballybay. Conall McHugh got the first point in the sixth minute and with a raft of points from the team and goals from David Irwin and Odhran McArdle we were well up at half time, score 2-07 to 0-4. Although not as I tense as the first half the team kept up the pressure in the second half with Connor Ruddy raising the green flag in the 46th minute. Final score Faugh’s 3-11, Ballybay 0-07. Another good performance, let’s hope we can take that into the next game.

Analysis Faugh’s U16 v Magheracloone: The U16 girls had their first game of the league at home to Magheracloone. A good performance by our young team in the first half. Magheracloone however were stronger in the second half and took the points. Plenty of positives to take from the game though. Next game April 11th with details to follow.

Analysis Faugh’s U13’s v Aughnamullen: The U13’s started their Spring League campaign on Saturday past with 2 matches against Aughnamullen. Despite the warm conditions both our teams put in a great shift and were convincing winners over our visitors. There were some fantastic passages of play and the hard work on the training pitch and was very evident throughout the match.
