Faughs History Book Launch: Faughs supporters and many people in the local community have been eagerly awaiting the launch  of Joe Hanratty’s new book on the GAA in Castleblayney from its earliest days right up to 2020. AGM: Our AGM took place last Friday the 13th via zoom due to the Covid restrictions. A great number tuned in to a very productive evening. Emphasis this year was on the new development, fundraising and the continuation of the great work been done at juvenile right through the club with special mention to the fact that all juvenile teams this year qualified for at least their respective semi finals. Special tribute was paid to Brian Sherry who stepped down as juvenile development officer after 12 years in the role. Brian was a pivotal figure in the growth and success of the Faughs juveniles over the last number of years, driving everyone to do better and bringing many new faces on board. You will be missed Brian but no doubt you will still be in the wings helping out. The senior executive were then elected with one new addition joining with Aoife McCooey been elected as joint PRO.
