Joe Hanratty book launch: Excitement is building for the upcoming and eagerly anticipated book of Joe Hanratty entitled”A club and its Community” detailing the history of the Faughs and community from 1888-2020. Book launch is pencilled in for Friday 4th of December at 7.30pm and is surely a must for all. Well done Joe.
Lotto: There was no winner of this weeks Lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2, 13, 18 & 30. Lucky dip winner was Geraldine Cumiskey, The Crescent. Next weeks Lotto is worth €7700. Remember as the lotto is now our only source of income during Covid and with the Faughs undertaking the new huge development of St Mary’s Park, we urge everyone to keep playing the lotto online and supporting our club on lotto.castleblayneyfaughs.com.
Winter Training: After a consultation between the clubs coaches and agreed by the executive, the club feel we can resume our winter training schedule in a safe manner and that it is just as important for the children to get out and exercise and have a bit of fun. See your team app for exact times and dates for resumption.
AGM: Our AGM day is this Friday 13th. Due to the pandemic this is a non-physical event. We have sent out our annual AGM reports and anyone who wishes to ask any questions, please submit your query by contacting Philip on 0879201381
Pitch: Reminder that the Faughs main pitch is now closed until further notice.
Volunteers wanted: The club began its remedial work last week to help improve the facilities at St Mary’s Park. Firstly a massive thanks to those who have already volunteered their time to help out but you know what they say “many hands make light work”, so we are looking for as many volunteers as possible to share the the load (skilled and not so skilled) to help with activities such as tiling, painting, roof repair, plaster work erecting fencing, power-hosing etc. If you can give a small bit of your time to help improve our facilities please Contact Ray on 087 138 3603 or Philip on 087 920 1381
If there are any notes/events you wish to be published as part of the Notes please contact Brendan Carr on 087 292 6456, or email pro.castleblayney.monaghan@gaa.ie
