Operation TransFaughsmation: Date for the diary: 22nd August is our registration date for our Operation TransFaughsmation. It will be bigger and better than ever, so spread the word and be sure to get signed up on the night.
Faughs Summer Camp: There is still time to register for our annual The McMahons Centra Faughs Summer Camp takes place on the 9th-12th August. This promises to be a great event for the children from around our community and beyond and will be the best ever! Application forms for the camp are available in McMahons Centra & Supervalu.
SFL: Our senior men travelled to Truagh on Wednesday. Having come off the back of some good results and performances, the Faughs were in confident mood. Unfortunately, Traugh came out on top on a scoreline of Truagh 2-8, Faughs 0-13. The scheduled league game away to Ballybay this Wednesday has been postponed, so this gives our men a chance to regroup.
RFL: Our reserves took on Aughnamullen on Saturday evening past in the Platinum Tanks RFL Div1B semifinal. In a high scoring match, the Faughs seemed subdued, with Aughnamullen coming out on top on a scoreline of Faughs 3-5, Aughnamullen 3-20. Let’s hope the lads pick themselves up for the next challenge.
Best Wishes: Best wishes and good luck to Dermot and rest of the senior men panel as they play Dublin in the Q/F of the All-Ireland Championship this weekend in Croke Park. Give yourselves plenty of time and be careful on the roads – it will be busy!
