Club Notes 23/09/21

Lotto: There was no winner of this weeks Lotto jackpot. Numbers drawn were 2,21, 23 &30. Lucky dip winner was Melissa Conlon, Castleblayney. Next weeks draw is worth €5900. From next week the Faughs lotto is not just paying out one lucky dip winner. Instead we are giving away four lucky dip prizes of €25. So make sure and get those entries in on lotto.castleblayneyfaughs.com or in the lotto boxes located around the town.

Bingo: Faughs bingo has now relocated and takes place on a Wednesday evening in Our Lady’s Secondary School concert hall. First numbers called at 8pm. Parking available both in Our Lady’s car park or alternatively in the back carpark of the Iontas were there is a gate to gain direct entry to the concert hall. So for all you bingo lovers, pencil in Wednesday evenings for your chance to win our many cash prizes.

Results: A feast of football was to had over the last week with teams from all across the board in action. Our senior men came out on top in their championship game against Ballbay with two points to spare. Our U15B side recorded a win in their championship encounter. Senior Ladies had a convincing win over Tyholland and both our U12A & B sides recorded wins in their respective semi finals. Hard luck to the U16 girls on Sunday last when defeated by a strong Carrick outfit in the final and also to our U15C team. Also our U7, U8 and U11 all took part in organised blitzed. Well done to all.

Fixtures: Plenty more action this week with our U18 girls in action versus Donaghmoyne at home on Wednesday night at 8pm. Our U17 boys will look to bounce back when they take on Maghercloone in the championship at 8pm on Friday night at home. U12 girls finals are scheduled for this weekend.
