Club Notes 29th August

Minor Boys:
DH3HipGWsAA7x4s
Our minors put in a great shift to capture the Connolly Meats DivII League title on Tuesday past against Monaghan Harps in Drumhowan. On a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-8,

the lads held off a strong fightback by the Harps in the closing stages of the match to take home some well-deserved silverware. Congratulations to all of the lads involved and the management team.

Senior Men:

Our senior men went down against Ballybay and Clontibret in the league during this past week. The team were missing a significant number of players, so let’s hope the majority of the players are available for the Round 2B of the senior championship meeting with the Harps this coming Saturday 2nd September in Inniskeen, throw-in 7.30pm.

Operation TransFAUGHSmation:
Operation TransFaughsmation
Well done goes to everybody who signed up for the Operation TransFAUGHSmation. For many, this may be the first step on their fitness journey. For others it could be the extra step they want. Either way, remember that any exercise is good for you and the important thing is to have FUN!

Give Respect – Get Respect:
RESPECT
Can we ask that all GAA Patrons attending games involving our Club to remember that a key aspect of our success at any level is showing respect. We ask that any contributions that you make are positive and supportive.
