Club Strategic Plan: Friday the 4th of March will see the first night of the Clubs Strategic planning for the years 2016 to 2018 take place in the Castle Suite of the Glencarn from 7.30pm. The last five years have seen major developments within our Club due to the implementation of our original development plan “Clear the Way”. With the vast majority of this plan now implemented it is time to look to the future, we need to ensure that the high standard of work continues to make sure Our Club continues to prosper both on and off the field. The meeting on March 4th is for all Club members, as we feel it is vitally important everyone’s voice is heard. Remember “Its My Club” so we need you to have your say, only by working together can we make our Club the very best it can be. Please note change of date from original posting.

NFL: Following discussions with County Board a decision has been made to move the Mayo match to Clones to facilitate the large number of season ticket holders that Mayo have. As a result, we now host the Monaghan V Donegal game on Sunday 3rd April in a repeat of last year’s Ulster final. We ask that everyone keeps this date free. Following this change last Saturdays clean up at the field was postponed and will now be held closer to the Donegal game when the weather will be much improved and more work can get done. Details on this will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Seniors: We are still awaiting confirmed fixtures for the coming season. The reserve league will begin weekend 5th March with the Senior Football League starting weekend 19th March. The draw for the O’Duffy Cup took place last week, and we play either Donaghmoyne or Scotstown in the Quarter Finals. As soon as we receive confirmation for March fixtures we will post same to our social media.

Senior Ladies: How far we have come in a short few years; from having no girls football to this year entering our first Seniors Ladies team. Our ladies kick off their league campaign in Div 3 with an away game to Tyhollland, 28th Feb at 1pm. We wish the girls and their management all the best.
