Club Notes June 14th

Final: We have a final this week!!
Our Reserves are in the final of the McKeown Cup this coming Sunday. They take on Scotstown in what should be an entertaining and open game. Please come out and show your support for the lads. Throw-in is 2.00 pm this Sunday in Cremartin.

SFL Men: We made the short journey to Carrick this past Monday evening to take on the Emmets. Even with a depleted squad, the lads fought hard but came up against a strong Carrick team. Nevertheless we had two great goal chances and against the odds could maybe have got something out of the game, but unfortunately Carrick held out for the win. Final score Emmets 0-13, Faughs 0-9.
Next up for the Senior team is a home game against Currin this coming Friday night @ 8.00pm. Please come out and support the lads.

U14 Girls played at home last Monday evening against Killanny. A good strong performance all round will plenty of scoring opportunities. Two games left in the league both of which the blayney girls need to win.
Next match away to Aghabog 17th June. Training continues Friday and Monday evenings.
Congratulations to the u14 Camoige players who represented the county in feile last weekend in Cork/Kerry.

U12 Girls

Our next match was away last Tuesday to O’Neill Shamrocks in Cremartin. With a large number togged out for the match everyone got a run out in a spirited game. Some nice football played from both sides and the final whistle saw the match finish in a draw.
Next match fixed for Friday evening at hone to Donaghmoyne at 6.45pm.

U16
Training continues every Monday and Friday evenings.

Senior ladies
Another word of thanks to our new sponsor Cloud10 Beauty who presented the senior players with a welcome pack each at training last week. There continued support is greatly appreciated.
