Club Notes May 18th

Breakfast Morning: Don’t forget to drop by to Iontas this coming Sunday for our annual “Breakfast Morning with the Faughs”. The senior men will be donning their aprons to cook up a seriously good and hearty breakfast in Iontas from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Hope to see you all there!!

SFC Men: Our Seniors hosted Ballybay on Monday night past. With the county players taking a break from club action due to the match with Tyrone this coming weekend, both teams were down some key players. Played in good dry conditions, the Faughs were made to work hard for every score. In the end, Ballybay came out on top on a scoreline Ballybay 2-11, Faughs 1-09.

Well done: Well done to all the boys participating in the U11 Spring League Final held recently in Cloghan. The club are very proud of all the hard work and effort of each boy.

Best Wishes to any of our players representing our county. Good luck to the Monaghan Senior men who travel to take on Tyrone in Omagh this coming Sunday in the Ulster Q/F.
