Club Notes September 25th

Operation TransFAUGHSmation: This year’s Operation TransFAUGHSmation is up and running and a huge number of participants continue to take part. Check out the Operation TransFAUGHSmation facebook page for up to the minute updates. Well done to everyone taking part, and a big thanks to Tom and team who put in so much work in planning and running the program.

U11 Boys: Our U11 boys played out a great match against Scotstown on Saturday past. This group of lads are certainly one to look out for the future with a fantastic mix of skill and determination on show against a good Scotstown team. Well done to the players and mentors for serving up an exciting end to end match.

Big Tom Weekend: Well done to everyone involved with organising all the events this past weekend in town. It drew in large crowds to Castleblayney and was a great success.

Planning: As we near the end of the playing season, our thoughts turn to implementing plans that will help our club grow and become more successful in the future. With this in mind, our committee groups that were setup as a result of our 4 year Development Plan will begin meeting more regular. We have specific committees targeting: Community Health & Wellness, Scor & Irish Culture, Facilities Development, Marketing & Communications, Finance, Coaching and Games Development.

If you would like to be part of this effort in shaping the future of our club, please contact any of the committee members.
