Senior Men: On Sunday last our seniors were due to play Truagh in their final round robin game. Unfortunately due to health & safety concerns and a lack of clarity our senior executive made the difficult decision not to travel and to concede the game. This was an extremely tough choice to make and after a lengthy meeting on the issue the executive decided that the health, safety and wellbeing of our our players is our number one priority and will remain to be so down the line. We understand that this decision may have disappointed some, but we feel the correct decision was made. We would also like to wish the Truagh club well going forward through the remainder of the year ahead.

Senior Ladies: It wasn’t to be for our senior ladies this year as defeat to Seans in another intense and tight battle knocked them out of this year’s championship. We are sure ladies, you will bounce back from this and come back bigger and stronger next year. We would like to wish Nicole Maguire a speedy recovery from an injury sustained the previous week and her sharp shooting skills were a miss at the weekend. Finally a big thanks to Tom, Maire, Mickey, Gráinne and of course the players for all their hard work and commitment throughout what has been a very strange year.

Congrats: Congratulations to Kealan and Aimee Duffy on the birth of their baby daughter.

Covid-19: As you are all aware at this stage, the government tightened restrictions meaning spectators are not allowed to attend games. Strictly one parent/guardian is permitted to accompany a juvenile to games and we ask if you could kindly adhere to this. Its not what we would have wished for at this stage but we must follow the strict guidelines. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.
