Club Notes 9th May

Seniors: On Wednesday past, our senior team took on Latten in the league at St. Mary’s Park. The Faughs were well in control during the first half and went in at half time 0-7 to 0-5 up. Ciaran Hanratty raised the green flag at the beginning of the 2nd half and Kevin Mackin scored another goal in the 42nd minute to leave the score 2-9 to 0-7.

The Faughs would only score one further point in the match, while Latten clawed their way back into the game through a series of unanswered points along with a goal in the 54th minute. In a match the Faughs should really have won, the points were eventually shared with a final score line of Faughs 2-10, Latten 1-13.

Support the minor boys: This Saturday the minors will be showing off their cleaning skills with their annual Car Wash. Be sure to take your car to St Mary’s Park between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm for a good wash while helping out a great cause.
