Club Notes May 28th

Future Stars: Massive well done to all the Faughs of the Future as the U8s travelled to take on the very best in the annual Kilmacrud Crokes blitz this past weekend. Showing great effort,

determination and no small amount of skill, our lads performed heroically and came back to Castleblayney as champions. Well done to all the players and the management!

SFL Men: Our seniors welcomed Clontibret to ‘Blayney on Friday evening past. In a below par performance, we came out the wrong end of a 0-11 to 2-12 scoreline. Next league game for the lads is an away match with Carrick on Friday June 7th.

U16 girls
Monday saw the u16 girls play at home in the league to Donaghmoyne. A close encounter as usual between the two teams. At the end of the match Donaghmoyne were winners by 4pts.

Reserve Men: This Friday sees our reserves take on Maghercloone in the O’Duffy Cup S/F. The match is scheduled to throw-in at 8.00 pm in Magheracloone. Meanwhile on Sunday our lads travel to Truagh for the other S/F in the FRC McKeown Cup at 2.00pm. Best of luck to management & both teams!

U15 Boys:
Match day 7 for our U15s saw them travel to Scotstown on Thursday night. Our boys, on the back of a thrilling performance against Carrickmacross last week, came into this match as favourites. They duly justified that title in what was a comfortable victory over a team who were unbeaten in their previous 3 games. A final score line of 8.23 to 2.15 did not flatter this vibrant and goal hungry team. Some outstanding marksmanship was on view from Niall Rice at Full forward ably assisted by Thomas ‘The Hitman ‘ Hughes and Martin Joyce. Only 3 league games remain in what has been a very successful campaign so far winning 5/7. The next game vs. Clontibret does not take place until the 27th June due a break for exams.

U14 ladies training continues on a Monday and Friday. Next league match Monday evening away to Tyholland at 6.45.

U12 ladies training continues on a Monday night
First league match is this Friday evening against Inniskeen at home

U8/10 Girls: training continues Monday evening at 6pm in the football pitch. New members always welcome .

Well Done: A huge well done to the Boys U13 team in OLSS who all performed magnificently to capture the Ulster title. Congratulations to players and the management!

Cul Camps: With the Cul Camps just around the corner we are looking to recruit new and previous coaches who have worked on the camps for 2019. Application forms are available from club coaches.
